KC-PROF employees took part in an international regulatory event, the conference “Opportunities and Strategies for Russian-Chinese Cooperation in the Field of Medical Devices.” The conference was held from December 16 to 20 in the Changping district of Beijing.
The event was organized by the Changping District People’s Government and Tsinghua University Institute. The aim of the conference was to jointly develop solutions for Russian-Chinese cooperation in the field of medical devices. Representatives of Russian and Chinese regulatory authorities also took part in the conference.
As part of the business program, KC-PROF Director Sergey Evdokimov gave a presentation on “How to choose a consulting firm for medical device registration.” The presentation sparked lively interest among the audience and received positive feedback from both Russian and Chinese participants.
The conference concluded with a visit to the Changping International Medical Device City exhibition, an industrial area with a concentration of medical device manufacturing companies, which officially opened in November 2024.

The main advantage of this location is that it provides a full cycle of medical device production, including research, prototype development, commercialization of R&D results, and rapid implementation in clinical practice. The conference featured demonstrations of the flagship products of resident companies.
“Participation in the conference is an important step in our strategic development program in foreign markets. Today, China is a center of technological innovation and one of the largest manufacturers of medical products. We saw enormous interest in our solutions and established contacts that will lay the foundation for long-term and mutually beneficial Russian-Chinese cooperation,” said Sergey Evdokimov. An example of the beginning of such a partnership was the signing of an agreement with Beijing Changfazhan Pharmaceutical Health Technology Co.
Thus, participation in the conference allowed the KS-PROF team to hold a series of strategic meetings with leading Chinese companies, discuss the prospects for joint projects and entering the Russian market.
